  My first and favourite choice for a special dinner. The prices are reasonable, the service is excellent, the food is well done classic French, and the ambience is like being in a quant French inn in a rural area far from the city (it's not far at all). Great place for a fancy first date, fabulous place to end up after a day of skiing or hiking in the Gatineau Park with friends.

  Food was mostly local which was a nice surprise. Service was slow but the flavors in the food were worth the wait!

  Delicious restaurant with an ever changing menu. The service is always excellent and we love the atmosphere. Great place for a special dinner or celebration. Best foie gras in the city!

  I like their big and creative menu. Food, atmosphere, and service are good. However, the wine sauce for the deer medallion doesn't taste like good wine and it has a bit burn taste to the meat. The mashed peas was the best I ever had tho.

  It was a busy night and we had plans for later, and we were reading.the menu outside the door when the chef came out and invited us in. We explained we had limited time and he told us it was a very busy evening but he would see what he could do. We had a fantastic meal and wine. I hadnt eaten at the restaurant for decades, but it us still one of the best and the setting is peaceful and wonderful. Well worth the 20 minute drive north from Ottawa.
